Today Narconon will host a live graduation event for people of all ages and from all walks of life who made the decision to get help for drug or alcohol addiction.  This event signifies a life-changing decision in each of their lives and it is being shared with everyone who chooses to watch it so that others who are battling substance abuse problems can see that help is available and it can be successful.

The Narconon Live Graduation is broadcasted directly on the Internet will it is happening in our rehab center. The event starts @ 4:00 PM EST.

The stories that are covered on this site are true.  Whether they are written by the addicts themselves or someone involved in the addict’s life, several readers who have come across the stories have remarked on the similarities between what they have read and what is taking place in their own lives.  This is because drugs and alcohol do not discriminate.  These substances are selfish and take over control of a person’s brain, willpower and emotions.  However, just as the stories attest to, there is hope.

Some of the very stories shared on this site are about the lives of Narconon students who have graduated in the past or are taking part in the live graduation even t today.  How much more definitive could a statement be than to share a story that is similar to your own and then to show the outcome in the visibility of a Narconon live graduation event?

The people you will see taking part in the event are celebrating the first day of the rest of their lives not only metaphorically but in reality.  They will remember this Christmas as one of the best ever, they will see the New Year in with hope and optimism.  Perhaps Christmases and New Year’s Eves of the past are blank because of their past addictions.  No more.  They have learned how to live without the substance that controlled them and they have readied themselves with armor to make it in their normal every day lives.

September has been set aside as a month to celebrate the victories of those who have beaten drug abuse and alcoholism. It is also a time to sing the praises of those dedicated professionals who spend every day helping people beat their addictions. There have been events planned in every state in the US. There are dinners, concerts, walks, social gatherings and many more events and activities planned.

For the third time, the drug rehab center Narconon Trois-Rivières will broadcast their graduation via the Internet. TODAY,  September 25th at 4:20 EDT on the Internet at http://narconon.ca/live_graduation.htm. While September is designated National Recovery Month, seeking help, getting help and celebrating sobriety can happen any time of the year. It is always a joyful time when someone leaves behind a life of addiction and starts a fresh, happy life drug and alcohol free. There are always counselors on hand if anyone ever has any concerns about drug addictions or alcoholism.

Throughout the country, recovering drug addicts and alcoholics can help each other celebrate their victories. It is also a good time to give recognition to the staff of the treatment center that helped you beat the habit. Recovery is no small feat and those who have accomplished it deserve the recognition. Drug addiction and alcoholism tear apart lives and families. That is why, in September, we celebrate those who have made that effort to put everything back together. Addiction and recovery are community issues. Together they suffer from the effects of addiction and together they can celebrate those who rejoin life drug and alcohol free. It is also a good time to thank, or otherwise recognize those drug counselors, doctors, techs and other staff members who make it their life’s work to help people beat their addictions.

Whether you go through drug addiction rehab in January, May or October, September is just the month chosen to give special recognition.
